Leader: This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Cong: I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.”
Leader: This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.
Cong: Blessed be the Lord; may God’s glory fill the whole earth.
Opening Prayer (Unison) – Eternal God, we gather today in worship to rededicate this parsonage to your Holy name. As we do, let it be a house of grace and a haven of peace to every family that will live in it. As pastor, shepherd, and friend, together with the people of your church, may we all grow in your grace and truth in Jesus, and may we who gather this day, continue to grow in the strength of your love and Spirit that is in Christ Jesus our Lord, Amen.
