Upward Soccer is for athletes age 4 (as of 9/1/16) through 5th grade.
Upward Soccer is a fun way to introduce kids to Jesus Christ while learning values such as sportsmanship, respect, integrity, and teamwork. The games are played on the fields behind the church on Saturday mornings.
Registration:
Online registration is open and will remain open until the first game on Saturday, September 10. Register Online
Onsite registration and evaluations will be August 13, between 9 a.m. an 12 p.m., at Providence United Methodist Church.
- 4 year old & Kindergarten Boys/Girls, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.
- 1st & 2nd grade Boys/Girls, between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
- 3rd through 5th grade Boys/Girls, between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Practices:
Practice will be held on Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The first practice will be held Tuesday, August 23, or Thursday, August 25.
Games:
Games will be held on Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. or 10 a.m.
The games begin Saturday, September 10 and end on October 29.
Forms and Fees:
- Early registration fee is $75 per child. After August 31, the cost is $80 per child.
- Deadline for registration is September 9.
- Register online or drop off your form and registration fee at the church office, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday-Thursday.
- Soccer shorts are optional at a cost of $15.
- Cleats are recommended.
