Call to Worship –
Leader: This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Cong: This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.
Leader: The hour is coming, and now is when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him.
Cong: Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him, bless his name!
Opening Prayer (Unison) – Almighty and everlasting God, in whom we live and move and have our being, you created us for yourself, so that our hearts are restless until they find rest in you. Grant to us such piety of heart and strength or purpose that no selfish passion may hinder us knowing your will, and no weakness from doing it. In your light may we see life clearly and in your service find perfect freedom; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
